AAUW Community Action Grants

  • Undergraduate, Master’s, PhD, and Professional Students; Postdoctoral Scholars
  • One-year grants: $2,000 - $7,000, Two-year grants: $5,000 - $10,000
  • Deadline: December 1, 2020

The American Association of University Women Community Action Grants provide funds for projects that address issues related to the needs of women and girls or that provide information to educate and benefit the public on those issues. AAUW seeks proposals for projects that are innovative programs or non-degree research projects that promote education and equity for women and girls.

HI USA Explore America Travel Scholarship

  • Undergraduates, Master’s and PhD Students, Professional Students
  • $1,000 + money to cover up to 7 free overnight stays at HI USA hostels
  • Deadline: January

The HI USA Explore America Travel Scholarship is a travel award for exploring the US and experiencing diverse people, places, and cultures.  During travel, participation in an approved hostel activity and exploration of the local community surrounding the hostel are required.

HI USA Explore the World Travel Scholarship

  • Undergraduates, Master’s and PhD Students, Professional Students
  • $2,000
  • Deadline: Application period currently closed

The Explore the World Travel Scholarship provides funding to help finance a trip outside of the United States that includes an educational or service component.
