Hello! こんにちは!

My name is Risa Takeuchi and I am a fourth year Landscape Architecture major. I am an international student from Japan. My global experience began when I was 10 years old when I began studying abroad in Switzerland, Canada, and eventually the United States. Living amongst different cultures, languages and understandings, I began to appreciate learning more about foreign lifestyles. This summer, I participated in a study abroad program in Barcelona for Housing and Urbanism. It was an eye opening experience to witness how the people of Barcelona interact with their city and the foreigners that visit it. I hope to share the excitement of global experiences through my time at the Global Learning Hub.
