Cohort-based fees

Starting in the 2022-2023 Academic Year (AY), UC Davis will begin charging tuition and fees based on when students first enrolled at UC Davis, and keeping those tuition/fees at a fixed rate throughout a students' degree program. The tables below distinguish the cost differences between students of different "cohorts", based on when they first enrolled at UC Davis.

Fee Notes

  • Some or all instruction for all or part of the Academic Year may be delivered remotely. Tuition and fees have been set regardless of the method of instruction and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year. Figures for tuition and fees represent currently approved or proposed amounts and may not be final. Actual tuition and fees are subject to change by the University of California as determined to be necessary or appropriate. Final approved tuition and fee levels may differ from the amounts presented. UC Davis Tuition and Fees are different for Graduate and nonresident students. The amounts shown on this page excludes health insurance in the totals; more information about UC SHIP.

Program Fees include

  • Lodging in shared apartments (additional fee required for homestay option)
  • Some group meals (homestay option also includes five breakfasts and five dinners per week)
  • Transportation (airport pick-up and transportation to required excursions)
  • Required program excursions (including a half-day trip to Castelo di Verrazzano and overnight trip to Torino)
  • Amici degli Uffizi Museum Pass
  • GeoBlue health insurance
  • The ASA for this program includes some supplemental educational expenses for services provided by the on-site provider/organization
  • Host institution fee
